The British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association (BVRLA) is to launch a steering group to help potential funders better understand the needs of rental and leasing companies. The aim of the steering group is to help funders provide more competitive finance packages to British rental and leasing companies. The panel, which includes representatives from Prohire, Fleet Hire & Hertz, aims to help finance institutions work out what type of finance is required by the industry.
The group has been formed as the industry’s biggest provider of finance, Lloyds Banking Group, looks to reduce its £1 billion exposure in the sector.
John Lewis, BVRLA Cheif Executive said “We want to get a clear understanding of which sort of finance they want to provide and what sort of companies they want to deal with. The information we get from the survey of members will help us point them in the right direction.”
Always remember, when dealing with any finance company, ensure that they are members of the BVRLA, as Crusader Vehicles Ltd are. Are membership number is 1967.
